Privacy policy

Template text to adapt with your legal adviser. Items in [brackets] need your company details.

This policy explains what personal data Odd Hours collects when you visit oddhours.studio, contact us or work with us, and what we do with it. We keep it short and plain on purpose.

1. Who we are

Odd Hours is a brand and web studio operated by [Company legal name], [registered address], tax number [NIF / CVR]. We are the controller of your personal data. For anything privacy-related, email privacy@oddhours.studio.

2. What we collect

  • Contact details you send us by email or through our booking page: your name, email address, company and the message you write.

  • Booking details when you schedule a call through Cal.com: the time you pick and any answers you give.

  • Basic usage data about how the site is used, such as pages viewed and approximate location. Framer, our website host, collects this without cookies.

  • Optional cookies, only if you accept them in the cookie banner.

3. Why we use it

  • To reply to enquiries and prepare proposals (steps before a contract and our legitimate interest in answering you).

  • To deliver work we’ve agreed with clients (contract).

  • To understand and improve the site (consent, where cookies are involved).

  • To meet accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).

4. Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies remember your cookie choice. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you accept them. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer.

5. Who we share it with

We never sell your data. We use a small number of trusted providers to run the studio: Framer (website hosting), Cal.com (scheduling) and [email provider] (email). They process data on our behalf under data processing agreements. Some of them may store data outside the European Economic Area, protected by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for up to 24 months after our last conversation. Client and invoicing records are kept for as long as accounting law requires in Portugal and Denmark.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email privacy@oddhours.studio and we’ll reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (Portugal) or Datatilsynet (Denmark).

8. Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
